Your new role
As the Head of Cyber Consultancy and Design, you will work broadly across multiple projects and teams within the wider architecture functions within DDaT (Digital Data and Technology). You will own and act as the authority on secure design and development for some of the most critical and valuable services, both directly and through collaborative working with your team. You will be leading a team of security architects and cyber risk advisors, taking ownership of technical security within the Home Office. The Head of Cyber Consultancy and Design will be working alongside the Head of Governance, Risk and Assurance to reignite the Home Office's security capabilities.
What you'll need to succeed
We will see that the Head of Cyber and Consultancy Design holds:
A track record of leading and delivering complex technologies within time, cost and quality targetsPossess a deep understanding of security concepts and prevailing technologies with an ability to demonstrate this by applying knowledge at technical level in an innovative wayWorking experience with ISO 27001, NIST, BS EN 31111 CoBIT, SOX and/or other Information Security Management frameworks including NCSC standards and guidanceBe a CRTSA (Crest Registered Certified Technical Security Architect) or equivalent, desirably with one or more of the following qualifications CISA, CCSP CCP, CISSP, CISM, or CIAExperience with advising, guiding and influencing on cyber security architecture and cyber risk to senior business stakeholders, security advisors and accreditors
Candidates with experience of using architectural modelling methods and tools - Unified Modelling Language (UML) and SparxEA would be particularly desirable
