We are recruiting for a director-level Technical Applications Lead to manage a team of up-to 30 Developers and Engineers. You will be responsible for the Application landscape for EMEA including supply chain, Dev-ops, and hire to retire lifecycle.
You need to be a highly competent stakeholder manager with the ability to communicate effectively with end-users, business owners, developers, managers and IT leads through to C suite.
You will lead the team to effectively develop applications and level 2 & 3 technical application support. You will own the tools suite from a technical side allowing for deployment of effective global solutions.
Personality fit is essential for this company, and this role would suit someone who is naturally confident, personable and commands gravitas in challenging situations, whilst fostering trust in your technical capability.
You will come from an IT background with previous people management skills ideally working in a supply chain function, or from a distributor background.

Lead, inspire & develop the applications development team to exceed SLAsOwn the tools portfolio including .NET, PHP, PL/SQL, C, VB, RPG & DBMS environmentsOwn the 12 months implementation and deployment plan from the development and support perspectiveWork with technology leads to support in technical needs audit responsibilitiesSupport the PMO process for all process solution teams & functions
