The Portfolio Management Office team at BNP Paribas Personal Finance are currently seeking a new Head of PMO to take the team on the next stage of our transformation.
This opportunity would suit a Senior PMO professional who is seeking the next step up in their career.

As the Head of Portfolio Management Office you will be responsible for coordinating successful delivery of programmes and projects across the organisation through: effective prioritisation based on business imperatives, optimal allocation and utilisation of resources across the portfolio, application of effective programme and project oversight, process design and application, benefit realisation monitoring and robust financial management.

Youll lead a team of 3, managing performance and inspiring a Best in Class work ethic and approach.

You will take a holistic view of the portfolio to ensure the right projects/ programmes are delivering the benefits aligned to the objectives of the organisation, whilst ensuring their delivery remains in line with relevant processes and governance requirements.

This role will be a hands-on PMO role, so youll be involved in many different aspects of driving implementation, reporting, governance, identifying problems, as well as assessing business wide risk and make appropriate decisions / recommendations.

To be successful for this position, youll have:

- Experience working within a PMO function in a Senior position
- PRINCE2 - Alongside having an awareness of Waterfall and Agile methodologies/ lean six sigma
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of Seniority
- Credibility and the ability to inspire confidence and trust of peers, staff, and partners
- Able to work on own initiative and make informed decisions based on the information available
- Line management experience

This position is based in our office in central Solihull, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee free car parking however we are within a short walk of the High Street and Solihull train station, as well as local pay and display car parks. There is an opportunity to work from home 1 day per week once you are established within the role.
