WWT EMEA UK currently has an opportunity available for a Consulting Systems Engineer, acting as Technical Presales Architect to support our growing European Enterprise Sales and Engineering team located in M4 Corridor, London UK. This Technical Pre-Sales Engineer will support enterprise clients in the UK, Europe and global markets.
The Technical presents and markets the design and value of proposed WWT solutions and business case to partners, customers, prospects and qualifies the sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making, and future strategies.
Assist in developing Statements of Work and Bills of Materials Design Cloud and Infrastructure design and architecture Attend and lead customer business meetings with and without Account Executives. Recognize, support and help sizing Professional Services level of efforts (LoE) Develop and maintain customer and OEM relationships. To hold technology conversations with senior members of the customer (CXO) Serve as the technical liaison to not just our customers but also internally to WWT. Engaging effectively with Service Provider Sales team in support of customer pursuits, to advance sales campaigns and build rapport with customer contacts. Building strong relationships in the UK region with WWT's key OEM partners to foster collaboration and field level engagement. Achieving and maintaining required technology certifications and competencies Delivering Effective Customer & Partner Presentations Providing Effective Engineering Support of Customer Initiatives Leading and Presenting during Demand Generation Events Learning and presenting WWT Advanced Technology Centre Demos Strategizing on customer penetration plans and the overall growth of the UK market Demonstrate Solid Teamwork and Peer Collaboration Live and Breathe WWT's Core Values Experience of projects in at least one key Enterprise market vertical, examples including Pharmaceuticals, Retail.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Proven track of record to support sales teams in selling multi-million-dollar solutions (Hardware, software and Services) 6-10 years of pre-sales, technical solution selling Deep knowledge in VMWare, DELL EMC compute (VxRail/Rack/Rack scale DSS 9000) and Storage (Unity/XtremeIO/VMAX) Technologies. Experience supporting Service Provider or Banking infrastructure environments Extensive experience with Cloud ecosystems. Extensive Knowledge in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Ability to travel in and outside the UK. In receipt of consultative training/certification Demonstrable consultative technical selling skills - able to rapidly extract the customer's business problems, that can then potentially be solved with a technology based solution. Proven client presentation skills Experience with an OEM Partner at Gold level or equivalent is preferable. Experience in working for a Tier 1 Service Providers in Europe is preferable Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent experience considered
Fluent English mandatory +1 European language: (Italian or German preferred)
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Travel to customer site across the M4 corridor, London, UK and Europe with some travel to US maybe required. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
