Brewster Partners are looking for a business development manager for a successful manufacturing company based in Rotherham.
This is a new role to help drive further relationships with customers and build up a new network too.

The Business Development Manager will look to develop sales with customers and introduce new products as well as develop new leads and additional sales
Lead Generation: This is the most important task of the BDM, establish the initial communication to let the lead know what the company can offer.
Market research and database building and populating with industry information whilst complying with all relevant data protection legislation.
Calling industry related companies: This is most important task as most of the leads that you talk to might not know who the company are and why you are telephoning them. Follow up call or talk on a scheduled basis.
Fixing appointments to show the product to the customer or lead to see if it will be beneficial for them.
Building network of such customers through them and improve your own network for improving and developing the business network.
Marketing starting from the scratch and demonstrate knowledge of the product range to demonstrate knowledge to potential customers.
Managing, answering and collecting data from our online marketing facebook and web-based adverts converting theses leads to sales through the network of installers and dealers.
Customer Support to ensure a happy end user updating the dealer in the process.
Post-Sales Support: Technical Issues and Escalations
The company has a small team and some times there will be dedicated to assisting with Office Administration in the sales department- order process department and warranty department during staff holidays /sick leave etc. This will amount to around 8 weeks of the year where the BDM will need to balance the BDM role with holiday cover within the office.
Software should be familiar with:
Sage - Power Point - Dropbox - Facebook advertising - Word -Excel - Google maps - Outlook -salesforce
This is a basic of 22k with bonus up to 25k PA
The company are looking for a person who can negotiate pricing with clients in line with internal guidelines.
Keeping your line manager updated on both your progress and timeline, providing them with accurate forecasting of anticipated sales.
This being a sales role, you will be subject to sales and KPI targets; this is a crucial part of the role.
With face-to-face client meetings at the base in Rotherham and some occasional field visits, to customers and events. Youll be expected to travel occasionally for Group meetings.
