Our client, a North East IT and Telecoms solution provider is currently looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their growing team. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience at a 2nd/3rd Line level. It is essential you have a full UK driving license and access to your own car.Key Responsibilities:

Supporting first/second line engineers with ticket escalation, hardware configuration, network installations and configurations, server maintenance. Supporting various project work such as server migrations, DR solutions and server environment co-location. Supporting sales staff with project quotes and advice on system solutions.Essential Technical Knowledge: Windows 2016/2019 - Installation, troubleshooting and management. Excellent knowledge of Windows 7, 8, 10, and Microsoft Office. Excellent knowledge of AD, Domain Controller, Wsus server Antivirus products. Network configuration and administration experience. Routing (BGP, iBGP, OSPF, IS-IS) Switching (VLAN, STP, MPLS, LACP) VMWare and HyperV experience
