 Responsibilities:

Participate in 32-bit MCU based firmware design, development and testing of our M2M tracking products with 3G/4G cellular data, GNSS, MEMS sensors and various communication protocols technologies.  Participate in design validation of electronic circuits and system verifications. Coordinate and analyze products tests and results, and document product design and software release. Provide input on embedded software architecture, functional design, implementation and testing for delivering robust solutions with good performance and high maintainability. Drive system level decision on wireless connectivity and sensor data fusion enhancements. Collaborate with internal users and suppliers to innovate in M2M/Industrial IoT solution space. Participate in developing project plans, requirement and design objectives, implementation schedules and manufacturing validation plan.

 

Requirements: 

Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years solid experience in C programming on embedded systems R&D. Will consider as Technical Analyst if with less relevant experience. Preferable with hands-on experience in Cortex MCU, RTOS, 3G/4G, GNSS, Zigbee, WSN, BLE and 9-axis sensor. Familiar with the usage of embedded toolchain such as IAR, JLink and SVN/Git, etc. Familiar with the programming of serial communication interfaces and protocols (i.e., SPI, I2C, UART, RS232, RS485, ModBus and MQTT, etc). With knowledge on cloud based IoT services would be an advantage. Good knowledge in testing programs development either on Windows or Linux platform for products testing and validation by using C#, Python, JavaScript or other programming languages. Self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and documentation skills.
