In partnership with the Head, Kite Public Affairs, this position is responsible for developing and delivering digital communication programs that support Kite's brand and business goals through the growth of our online presence.

Essential Duties and Job Functions:

In this role, you can expect to develop and implement processes and programs that support the company's overall digital communications strategy across Kite's corporate digital channels, including social media and web (eg,, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).

Manage Kite's online communications platforms, to include:
Advancement of the corporate story by managing editorial communications plans to broaden awareness of Kite, including drug discovery and development plans, worldwide access initiatives, community programs, and general Kite stories.Manageand deliver all corporate social media activities for the company.Regularly update and maintain website content including updates via the company's content management system.Work with U.S. and global partners within the organization to research story ideas and develop fresh, new content; create and maintain digital communications publishing calendar.Ensure content is relevant and consistent in terms of tone, frequency and positioning.Oversee content review process among key stakeholders, secure approval of all content, post all content, route responses appropriately.Create a social media monitoring system, track social media and create analytics reports to inform digital communications strategy.Facilitate setting up new channels as business needs arise.Provide expertise in social media management, stay updated on new online technologies, best practices and industry trends to identify innovative strategies and solutions.Expertise in social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and experience using CMS platforms and AE monitoring toolsCreate engaging corporate videos for use within Kite and externally
Bachelors degree in science/marketing and 10+ years of work experience highly desired, non-degreed candidates with 12+ years applicable experience will also be considered.Ability to provide counsel on digital communications strategies with confidence and ease.Direct experience in project management/editorial oversight of multichannel communications, digital content management, web development or related field.Considerable experience developing and executing multi-platform social media strategies, through editorial calendars and tactical plans.A strong understanding of social media platforms and trends and a proven track record of scaling those platforms, including the use of paid media.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Experience managing multiple projects (timelines, budgets, priorities) simultaneously; flexibility is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree.Knowledge of enterprise social media tools and content management systems, including social media publishing and listening tools (eg Hootsuite, NetBase, Sprinklr, Spredfast).Confidence creating and acting on analytics/performance outputs from social media platforms.In-depth understanding of community management, content frameworks, editing/publishing and creative best practices specific to the social media landscape.Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated project and budget management capabilities.For jobs in the United States:
