Advocate Solutions is looking to add a solid technical Project Manager to our team in Columbus, OH. The specific details include:

Role and Responsibilities

Work with Client Partner/Practice Manager to engage with the end client on a variety of communication, reporting and strategy tasksEngage with all levels of management at the client site - from team members up to C-level ExecutivesDevelop and write Executive Summaries, RFPs, workflow diagrams and detailed current-state and future-state diagramsWork with Advocate Team Members, Client Team Members and Third-Party vendorsAbility to be a project leader as well as roll your sleeves up and manage project detailEffectively manage Resources, Project Plans, Project Schedules Change Requests, Resource Plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), etc.Manage projects utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a sound understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)/Project Management Institute (PMI) principlesWork with Project Management tools such as Microsoft suite - Visio, Project, Word, MS Excel

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Documented experience in successfully managing Information Technology (IT) projects (full project lifecycle)A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in managing IT projects (specifically application development and infrastructure) with large budgets in excess of $5M (Preferred)Previous public sector experience specifically in the Health and Human Services field is desiredProfessional certification in Project Management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (Preferred)Experience working with Project Management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Kanban and PMBOK (Preferred)Excellent communication skills - including written and verbal communicationBachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience Company Description At Team Advocate, our core values: Client Centricity, Team Loyalty, Professionalism, Excellence, Growth and Generosity, are at the center of everything we do.
