About the Position

My client has an opportunity available for a Mid Level Developer to join their team in Sandton. Main responsibilities include the development and implementation of responsive websites and web applications. You should foster an interest in responsive frameworks, modern web technologies and animation libraries which facilitate the creation of experience driven websites and web applications. You need to be able to build web applications backend and frontend. Key responsibilities:

Development and implementation of responsive websites and web applications Develop frontend modules focusing on functionality adhering to the design requirements provided by the UX/UI department Provide technical support for frontend related issuesReport to development operations manager regarding progress in the completion of tasks Understanding and implementing business requirements provided by a Business AnalystDeveloping backend solutions dictated by the project requirements


Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as Angular2+, MEAN stack / Webpack / Yarn Knowledge of [URL Removed] Working with MongoDB NoSQL databases applicableDeveloping websites, single page applications and web applications with a focus on adhering to design, business and security requirements.Knowledge of Git either using Bitbucket or GithubKnowledgeable in using RESTful APIs and [URL Removed] to access data and display it in web applicationsExperience with Atlassian Jira is beneficial
