Occupancy Planner Flexible Part-time position (4 days p/w, optional days) Sydney or Melbourne based
The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to lead occupancy planning & provide plans for relocations across IAG’s Property Portfolio. The Occupancy Planner will develop and provide strategic input on future real estate requirements for the Australian business.
A constant focus on reviewing, updating and managing the team allocations and space change requests across the national portfolio to ensure most efficient use of IAG’s workspaces. This will include influencing changing ways of work, team growth and reductions in a dynamic, ever changing workplace. Work with Workplace Managers to provide insights and strategies for efficient use of workspaces. Stakeholder management and building effective relationships across the business by consulting, listening, negotiating and educating. Assist Workplace Managers with broader communications in time of change. Work with Workplace Consultants to ensure successful implementation of all relocations. Assist with the delivery of Workplace team key objectives including minor and large relocations across IAG’s portfolio. Maintain focus on efficient use of space and resources, as well as driving alignment with overall IAG and Property strategies. Assisting (as required) the Workplace Analytics Consultant with the validation process and protocols, understanding the connection between the data integrity and strategic portfolio planning. Ensuring space and occupancy data in IAG’s space data management software is always up-to date and accurate in line with space data management protocols. Continuous review and improvement of team processes and documentation with focus on simplification and risk management. Provide input into the ongoing management of Locker and Storage Solutions where required. Assist Workplace Managers with minor works as required. This may include minor redesign of existing space and providing solutions within existing workspaces.
Skills & Experience
Commercial Property experience in Space Planning High level of attention to detail Natural problem-solving capabilities Advanced skills in Space Management Software e.g. Serraview SharePoint, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Word skills Strong reporting and visual presentation skills Good Interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a large company organisational structure
