World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to to drive all aspects of product development, from discovery to scaling, within a world-class global B2B team.
This area of the business is focused on crafting and delivering solutions to industrial customers, that range from technical advice supported by AI technology, to predictive maintenance services that help their customers save costs and achieve more.

About the Role:

Alongside a digital expert team, you will be responsible for continously crafting a strong vision for the product and align strategic priorities with the rest of the business, as well as maintain a backlog of requirements for design and engineering, focusing on business viability and prioritising for value. You will also assess product performance continuously as well as the value it brings for the business.
This product provides a single, cohesive user journey across multiple existing services with their own infrastructure, so a key part is the technical integrations with other services and APIs.

Key activities:
- Manage the roadmap priorities, as well as a backlog of features and product improvements
- Strive to understand the users we're building for, as well as how the business operates today, so the optimal product strategy is put forward
- Lead a co-located cross functional team of experts in their fields in order to drive product and business success
- Identify external and internal trends and changes to inform where software integrations, system or infrastructure changes are required, in order to fulfil the product roadmap
- Work together with the technical lead/architect, to estimate complexity and timelines for various options.
- Define success criteria and measure product performance through extensive use of analytics.
- Act as a liaison to the rest of the business, communicating roadmap, progress status & challenges to key stakeholder groups
- Involvement in related B2B Services projects in the same ecosystem and as a key member of the global services team

About you:

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in a product role working closely with development teams to take digital products from early concept to launch
- Influential people leader, capable of motivating a group towards objectives and fostering collaboration and a culture of respect, pragmatism and empathy
- Uses data to drive decision making and product priorities with a hypothesis driven approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen curiosity towards making things better
- An analytical mind, capable of setting, monitoring, and/or optimising success metrics for the product
- Excellent communication skills, being able to make concise points and clear arguments
- Proficient in managing and refining a product backlog and roadmap with clear and well written requirements
- Proficient in creating and managing documentation towards integrations (inc. diagrams, requirements and workflows)
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, etc.
- Experience with software tools like Jira, Trello, Confluence, Slack, Segment and Amplitude/GA.
- Knowledgeable of user testing, customer personas, and/or user journey mapping
- Comfortable interacting with and able to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
- Understand technology, so you're able to converse with engineers at least at a high level

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Background in software engineering before venturing into product management
- Experience facilitating requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders
- Experience with presenting externally on behalf of team/company
- Experience in the oil & gas or industrial sector and its particular challenges
- Experience in managing B2B products is strongly desired
- Multilingual ability is a plus
- Passion for human centred design and/or lean innovation
- Excited about working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing multinational environment
