WiredPeople invites qualified applicants to our Database Analyst - MS SQL Server role. The Database Analyst - MS SQL Server position will be responsible for the design, development and support of all databases required for system development as part of a larger software development team engagement. Successful candidates will be located in Tallahassee, FL and we are open to either FTE or 1099s for the role.
Essential Responsibilities: Analyze data requirements, application architecture and database schemas; Design, develop, amend, optimize and certify database schema design to meet system requirements; Gather, analyze and normalize information related to business processes; Develop database and overall data architecture to support the information needs of the new system; Data mapping and migration. Qualifications: Seven or more years of IT work experience in database design, implementation and support with Microsoft SQL Server databases. Extensive experience with MS SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures and SQL tuning Ability to develop high quality database solutions. Ability to develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions. Experience reviewing and interpreting ongoing business report requirements. Experience using temporal tables to maintain a history of data changes. Experience building appropriate and useful reporting deliverables. Experience analyzing SQL queries for performance improvements. Extensive experience developing procedures and scripts for data migration. Excellent understanding of SQL programming. Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services. Excellent problem solving skills related to MS SQL Server databases. Excellent time-management skills.
