Job Description Key skills required for the job are: n WebSphere Admin-L3, (Mandatory) .5 years hands-on experience administering IBM WebSphere Application Server ND with expertise in installation, support, analysis of logs and performance tuning. Excellent knowledge of supporting software on Red Hat Linux or AIX. Strong understanding of networking and security concepts. Deep understanding of JDBC and JMS connection management within WebSphere. Understanding of network standards, such as DHCP, DNS, SSL, TCP, UDP, IP, QoS and ICMP helpful. Understanding of networking concepts, such as load balancing and routing. Ability to carry out basic network troubleshooting in a server runtime helpful. Experience with using monitoring tools such as CA Introscope, ELK, or Dynatrace. Comfortable with scripting languages to automate tasks, including Bash, Perl and Python. Experience with provisioning tools, such as Ansible, a plus. Experience using a code deployment tool, like UrbanCode, a plus. Experience with other middleware products such as Datapower, MQ, and IBM BPM, a plus. Exposure to automation and CICD tools a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to collaborate effectively and excel in a team environment. Minimum work experience: 5 - 8 YEARS Roles Responibilities As a Lead Administrator, you should be able to act as a Single point of contact for the technical tower in front of the customer management. Ensure proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager. Responsible for Vendor Management and people management. Drives day to day operations and work plan allocation/management. Conduct periodic reviews with teams. Weekly and monthly status reports to higher management. Participate in business meetings with various stake holders. Take corrective actions based on the customer satisfaction surveys. Drive service improvement programs. Ensure adherence to quality / security standards defined for the engagement Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents. Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects.
