Purpose of Role: The primary purpose of this role is to lead and collaborate with field sales teams to grow sales and market share growth focusing on customers utilizing Procure to Pay (eProcurement) systems and purchasing digitally. This role works cross functionally within customer organizations across areas such as procurement, accounting, IT, supply chain and facilities management to grow relationships and share of wallet.
This includes responsibility for the development and implementation of the sales strategy that will leverage field-based sales teams along with corporate-based sales teams. This role participates in the prioritization of customer onboarding, and is responsible for executive presentations, portfolio performance reporting and prospecting.
Responsibility Statements: • Responsible for achieving Pro digital sales growth in e-commerce and eProcurement. • Leads and directs immediate and cross-functional teams on managing key relationships, prospecting techniques, pipeline and territory management to achieve ProServices sales and growth targets. • Monitors productivity and support team members of their assigned accounts and territory. • Serves as a subject matter expert for eProcurement in support of field sales and contribute to contracting activities for large complex deals. • Helps define go-to-market strategy for field sales focusing on Pro eCommerce and eProcurement. • Conducts periodic portfolio reviews of business to include call activity, lead follow-up, prospecting and performance of customer accounts. • Participate in the development of the eProcurement roadmap by gathering customer requirements and communicate both system enhancement opportunities and strategic improvements to business processes. • Ability to converse with senior customer stakeholders including CPOs, VP’s Supply Chain, and others. • Works collaboratively with the eProcurement integration team to ensure that vendor service levels are maintained and holds vendors accountable to these agreed upon levels.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field • 5 years’ experience in B2B large enterprise sales or account management experience • Knowledge of Procure to Pay (eProcurement) systems • Knowledge of eProcurement system integration and tender processes at large enterprises
