Description

Our client a major utility firm, based in Westchester County, NY is looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer.
You will be working on multiple HR initiatives, such as Support Open enrollment, Generate Total Compensation sheet, troubleshoot any configuration issues, etc. Other duties include working closely with HR department heads and stakeholders, maintaining a tracker for requests, and have periodic meetings with the business to exchange status and priorities. You will also be working closely with the SAP Portfolio manager to follow the client s SAP development standards.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Prepare technical specifications, a Unit Test Plan, Implementation Plan and User Training
Functional experience, with the ability to configure HR module(s) per business requirements
Design and develop SAP ABAP objects (reports, forms, enhancements) to meet RICEFW requirements
Follow Object Oriented Programming practice
Follow CTS process

Skills:
At least 5-7 years of experience in SAP ABAP, with a focus on HR Workflows, Reports, Dialog Programming, Interfaces, Smart Forms, Scripts, Adobe Forms, WebDynpro, Enhancement Framework
Experience with payroll schema and configuration
Perform end to end development activities Building prototypes, effort estimation, writing technical design, development, unit testing, code review, production support, UAT/system/integration testing support and deployment
Expert in ABAP debugging and should have ability to analyze existing processes/program and provide innovative solutions
Proficiency in HR ABAP Programming
Familiarity with Infotypes
Experience with RICEF objects.

Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Math or similar discipline
