Currently seeking a Printer/Hardware Engineer, to assist my client on a 3 month contract due to commence end of October, based on site in London.
Please be advised, as this role will be based on the clients premises, the successful candidate will be required to be on site 5 days a week.

Overview of Role & Requirements:
Utilise Web Jet Admin to monitor toner and paper levels and respond to low level alerts. Manage and maintain stock levels of consumables placed strategically around the site for fast response. Perform toner replacement and counter resets on the devices if required. Refill paper trays on alert or during proactive walks. Manage the toner recycle/returns by maintaining a stock of returns boxes and ordering collections online when required. This includes returning the unused toner cartridge to the collection point. Packing of the used toner cartridge in compliance with current COSHH regulations and disposal of the waste carton. Responding to alerts for paper jams that cannot be resolved by the user, miss picks and multiple paper picks on WJA and during proactive walks (approx 300 out of 800 proactive calls/month average). Also identifying print quality issues and premature consumable failures. Perform Break fix when ticket is raised by customer. If fix exceeds 20 minutes, it is passed to break Fix team to resolve in 4 hour SLA. 1st line support for software issues where proof is required or when a simple fix by telephone can resolve the issue. An example would be a desktop driver setting or driver reload is required. More in-depth software issues where server access is required are passed to desktop Support. Monitoring and installation of hardware maintenance kits on expiry and during proactive walk around. This includes resetting the maintenance counters to zero. Maintenance kits include Transfer Belts, transfer roller kits, paper pickup roller kits and Fuser units. Document feeder Mylar strips on MFP scanners. Managing the return of the used maintenance kits to the client within the warranty returns period. IMACS - Carrying out site survey on request for a move or new device. Collecting floor port information and providing IP range required to the Desktop Support team and network team in order to create a QIP entry and hostname, also to cross patch cabinets if required. Raising Tech Direct requests for Networks and Desktop to carry out these actions. IMACS - Move and/or install the device. Setting up basic device settings like, IP address, Hostname, Duplex, EWS password, NVRAM reset if required. Labelling device with new location and host details. IMACS - Transferring the new location, IP, Hostname and device model and serial number to IPG details for changes to FIS to enable remote monitoring of the device. All other activities and deliverables detailed in the Statement of Works Attachment A.3 - Print Services. Paper ordering online and media stock management.
