IT COORDINATOR Work for a highly reputable company within the energy sector. We are searching for an IT Coordinator on a 3-year fixed term contract that will plan, coordinate and seek to continually improve all IT activities for our client based in Pembrokeshire.
Manages all business IT activities including promoting innovation, planning projects, and organising the allocation of resourcesSupport, oversee and lead all IT projects.Ensure alignment with key frameworks such as ITIL by the relevant service providers and where frameworks may not exist ensure that best practices are followedReview and support contractor systems and procedures to ensure assistance, maintenance and cyber security activities are carried out in line with expectations and agreed service levelsAid with contracted vendors to benchmark, analyse and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and proceduresSupport stakeholders to define business requirements for new technology implementations.Provide business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT related spending and initiatives.Keep up to date with the latest technologies.Advise on IT plans and roadmaps relating to Cyber security.Facilitates continuous improvement in IT and business processes by implementing Self-Service and automated solutions.Updates all IT policies and procedures as required.Liaises with CPNI and other government agencies on Cyber security and other matters relating to IT
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering or Science with a masters in computer science or similarExtensive IT industry experience, with significant related system analysis experience.Oil and Gas or similar industry experience is an advantage.Significant experience of coordinating an IT functionGood leadership and interpersonal skillsHighly self-motivated and directedAbility to effectively prioritise, manage and execute tasks
