With a highly-successful track record of delivering mission-critical cybersecurity solutions, we are experienced in working quickly to provide effective incident response, attack-readiness, and remediation plans with a focus on providing long-term support to improve our clients' security posture.

The Crypsis Group is offering paid internships at our headquarters in McLean, VA as well as at our New York, Austin, Chicago, and Los Angeles offices for motivated college students that are passionate about security, interested in hands-on practical experience, and the opportunity to learn from some of the industry's leading experts. The internship is a 10-week program beginning June 7, 2021 and ending August 13, 2021.

Begin your cyber career at Crypsis:

Gain the knowledge and experience to start a career in Cybersecurity. Each intern will be assigned a mentor as well as a manager to support your professional development within the field.

Support live client engagements by conducting digital forensic and incident response investigations related to matters such as ransomware, business email compromise, employee misconduct, and intellectual property theft.

Work with members of the Professional Services team to learn and further develop your technical and investigative skills.

Leveraging Crypsis custom tools and forensic suites such as EnCase, X-Ways, and AXIOM while conducting digital investigations.

Complete a research project and present your results to the firm at the conclusion of the program.

Learn how to use cutting edge technology and tools to assist with client engagements.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Digital Forensics or a related field

A passion for Cybersecurity

Working knowledge and familiarity with Windows, Macintosh, and Linux systems

Training on and/or experience with the fundamentals of digital forensic and incident response investigations

Experience programming and/or Scripting a plus
