JOB SUMMARY:

BNED Digital Student Solutions is seeking a creative and enthusiastic team member to serve as Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue through acquisition, engagement, and retention of our subscription products.

This individual must be customer-obsessed and will partner across the company to ensure we deliver impactful marketing and engagement experiences to our subscribers. They will have an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to implement the overall strategy. They will operate with a sense of urgency while executing with precision.

Job Requirements:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns with a strong focus on driving acquisition, engagement, and retention across multiple channels (ie SMS, mobile, email, social media, etc.) on-time and on-budget which generate revenue, deliver on key business objectives, and ROI and KPI targets for our subscription products. Own, measure, deliver, and optimize key metrics and reporting on marketing activities across channels and platforms. Identify trends and insights, optimize segments, spend, and performance based on data. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints. Work cross-functionally to drive qualified traffic, improve conversion, and identify new opportunities to boost user engagement and retention through A/B and multivariate testing. Support and commercialize new products and product expansion through robust marketing strategies. Ensure all marketing initiatives are on brand. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners; Oversee all day-to day project management of external agencies (digital, affiliate, targeting, platforms etc.) including KPIs and ensure timely execution of all marketing efforts.Analyze and educate the team on the market dynamics, trends, and competition; Provide thought leadership where appropriate. Special projects as requested. Complies at all times with the Standards, policies and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics set out in the Employee Handbook.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5-7 years of digital marketing experience with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated success in mobile, email, social media, PPC and SEM marketing from concept to completion with a proven track record of success. Digital Marketing experience in a subscription service highly preferred Highly creative self-starter with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate. Passion for creating compelling and engaging creative and marketing content. Excellent writing skills a must. Results driven mentality with exceptional detail and knowledge of metrics, A/B testing and ROI analysis. Experience with testing and optimization platforms. Strong track record of distilling actionable insights from data to improve multi-channel marketing strategies. In-depth familiarity with email service provider and knowledge of marketing automation platforms. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (eg Google Analytics, Amplitude, Appsflyer), email systems (eg Sailthru, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and ad serving tools (eg Adroll, Facebook). Understanding and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Self-motivated, strategic thinker able to build, foster, and nurture relationships across departments. High EQ a must. Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn quickly, iterate based on results and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Roll up your sleeves attitude, absorbs information and reacts in a timely manner with a bias towards action; Comfortable dealing with ambiguity. Comfort working with Senior Management. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience. Some travel may be required.
