Network Operations Engineer:

Understanding of Cisco networks
Able to grow in role
8 Hour workday with rotation into Saturday and Sunday, shifts will vary.
Network Operations Analyst within the GTI Networks team within TES. It's responsible for all aspects of network, telecom and security operations with technologies including: -
- Routing and Switching (Cisco, Arista)
- Security, Firewall, Internet Proxy, NAC (Checkpoint, Cisco, Blue Coat, Forescout)
- Optimization and traffic optimization (Riverbed, F5, Cisco, Silverpeak)
- Management & monitoring (HP, SevOne, Wireshark, NIDs)
1st/2nd line technical support & incident management, monitoring for circuits and hardware. Report and track carrier issues, hardware RMA's etc.
Operational network maintenance activities and low-level changes (as scheduled by Service Assurance & Engineering teams)
Monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts. Tuning & optimization for monitoring systems
Assist with root cause analysis for high profile incidents
Assist with periodic network reviews and analysis (as scheduled by Service Assurance & Engineering teams)
Assist with the establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
Review, track and update network operations policies, standards and documentation
Assist with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
Daily network checks and operational handover duties
First level of support for network issues and outages
Expected to be familiar with Change management and Incident management process and priorities
Assist with low complex service requests related to different technologies in use
Expected to have a proactive approach while handling issues and Network alerts.

Reports and Meetings.

Individual will provide reports and attend meeting as follows:
Weekly Status Report.
Monthly Status Report.
Alert Reports. Supplier shall promptly notify Authorized Representative in writing on becoming aware of any change or problem that would negatively impact completion or performance of the Services and/or Deliverable's, the progress of tasks assigned under a SOW, or any schedule in a SOW. The written notice shall include a detailed description of the relevant change or problem.
