As a Director, Software Ecosystem Architect at Micron Technology, Inc., you will identify potential changes, modifications and enhancements for 3D XPoint technology to be utilized across various customer datacenters. You will work with new product technology to drive cloud IT Solutions, generate white papers discussing business cases surrounding ecosystem architecture using 3DXP, assist with structuring emerging memory business strategies, and collaborate with engineering to help create blueprints for 3DXP implementation.

Responsibilities: Develop technical strategy and influence Software and Systems roadmaps for Storage Class Memory through use cases, TCO, and value propositions.Use software and hardware infrastructure knowledge in the datacenter stack to identify gaps and opportunities to recommend changes, modifications, and enhancement opportunities for Micron 3DXP System Products.Own and drive ecosystem alignment with major Cloud Service Providers to promote Micron 3DXP.Work directly with ISVs to implement software changes to achieve application acceleration with Micron 3DXP Products. Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering; Master's degree highly preferred10+ years knowledge in ecosystem architecture and developmentDeep knowledge of the enterprise data center ecosystem (CPU, server, SW, OS, hypervisor applications) and of CPU hypervisor and associated performance bottlenecksMastery of datacenter hardware and software trends and solutions, including Virtualization/Software-Defined Data Center, Containers/Function-as-a-Service, Big Data Analytics, Database, Application Middleware, HPC, Machine Learning, Security, Networking and Storage as well as general Enterprise IT/applications knowledgeDemonstrate solid grasp of various Cloud software solution stacks including compute, orchestration, infrastructure management and storage and networking solutions (Cloud/EMC/VMWare experience required)Experience with delivering large scale complex software solutions deployed on 3rd party cloud (eg AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).Superior understanding of CPU architecture, L1/L2/L3 caching hierarchy; Page management; TLB paging architecture
