What you'll do on a typical day:

Define the product roadmaps working closely with stakeholders, operations, and engineering and act as the point person to lead and execute the product vision through execution Using data, identify opportunities for current and new products and prioritize for development Use quantitative and qualitative approaches to develop a strategic understanding of our customers and their challenges Execute competitive analysis to understand industry offered products, along with the areas in which they differ Craft a clear value proposition and competitive positioning for new offerings. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute ideas through all aspects of the product development life cycle, including design, development and implementation Identify, review and analyze business and product requirements; assist in design and development of products that address appropriate business needs Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines Delegate tasks on the project to other teams best positioned to complete them Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options on how to progress with the project Serve as the point of contact for teams assigned to help with the full project and ensure team actions remain in synergy Work directly with IT and Engineering on delivery with established test criteria and assist in executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product pilots; ensure that development/testing meets all product requirements Work hand in hand with marketing on sell sheets, creative assets and other content to drive conversion and user engagement Partner with Operations, Sales, Engineering and Learning & Development to participate in training/developing materials for how XPO staff performs its duties in relation to product business operations Develop feedback loops between the products and users, and continually develop the understanding of the problem through user feedback, metrics and communicating insights to leadership Measure product adoption and revenue vs. forecast. Identify and solve execution issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience 2 years of experience in project management, product management or business analyses in support of solutions development Experience managing projects from end to end Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with developing processes, including discovery, design, engineering, UAT and implementation Product management experienced preferred
