Job Summary







The Manager
of Software Development is responsible for one or more development teams made
up of Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers and Business Analysts. The Manager is responsible for a set of
applications and allocating resources across multiple Scrum and/or Kanban teams
to deliver new business requirements and fulfill regular maintenance demands
for those applications.

business project requirements.

ensure priority items are delivered in a timely manner with a focus on
business value and quality. This
includes providing regular updates to senior leadership on key milestones
and deliverables.

enterprise architecture team and other application development managers to
determine the priority of projects that have been requested.

24 x 7 x 365 environment, utilizing sound judgment and critical thinking
skills, and demonstrating leadership and a sense of urgency.

internal users and external customers to fully understand and meet their
technological needs.

attainment of strategic and tactical goals.

adhering to departmental budget, and budget variance reporting.

and inexpensive way to complete the objectives.

organizational effectiveness and customer service, reduce costs and
provide a competitive advantage.

Education








BA degree in
computer science or business, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.











Experience

7+ years of increasingly responsible
experience in the field of software development and/or technical project
management.

3+ years management experience following a
structured development methodology.

white Minimum 1 year in a management
role.
