Description
Seeking for an experience Data Engineer to be part of a team that plays an important role in influencing policies, processes and business decisions! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoy managing data, discovering trends or inconsistencies that affects business objectives!
Skill-set Requirement
- Background in Computer Science / Computer Engineer / Data Science;
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Science;
- Experience in Big Data ecosystems and using Big Data technologies like such as Spark and Hadoop;
- Experience in Microsoft Power BI;
- Proficient in the configuring and supporting Linux, Microsoft Windows Servers Microsoft Active Directory, DNS etc.;
- Able to write complex SQL queries;
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, ETL frameworks;
- Good writing, communication and presentation skills.
Desirable Skills- Experience in cloud computing environment;
- Knowledge in DevOps, container services, Docker and Kubernetes.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain data infrastructure, scalable data pipelines to transform, enrich and improve the efficiency of the data used;
- Design, develop, document and implement end-to-end data pipelines and data integration processes, both batch and real time;
- Design and write ETL frameworks and scripts to extract, transform, clean data from various sources on premises and on cloud;
- Responsible for testing, monitoring and validating data integration activity, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, movement, loading and updating processes;
- Ensure that data extraction and distributions are in accordance to data security policies;
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to understand data needs, gather requirements and implement data solutions to deliver business goals.
