What you will do
The Sr Security Analyst, Application Security leads Strykers Information Security work across the Stryker application environment as needed. This position has a high amount of responsibility for deploying security solutions across Strykers application landscape and for working with the business and IS cross-functional teams to get buy-in for our Global Security projects and initiatives. This is a customer-facing role that requires experience with both Information Security, Application Security, and Customer Relationship building.
The Information Security Lead Analyst will work to align application security solutions to meet business needs and will play a part in determining the role that different security technologies will play in our business model for the protection of Stryker assets and data.
Taking the lead for making sure that proper security diligence is completed for Stryker inhouse and purchased applications; designing the security infrastructure for application security along with their related programs and services as well as driving the proper security design and architecture to enable the business to do the work they need to do in order to make Stryker successful.
This individual will work across multiple teams and functions to determine security needs, identify security strategies, and establish security business enabling programs to execute on those strategies.
This individual will also provide high-level technical oversight, coordinate the activities of other teams, create roadmaps, and ensure delivered services are aligned with IS and business strategy.
Individuals in this position have a broad understanding of key development technologies and programming language.
The Application Security Analyst has the responsibility for both short-term tactical security planning and long-term strategic security planning.
This position provides experienced application security support for IS, the business, Merger Acquisitions, and Security operations and serves to support infrastructure and business improvements.
Incumbent provides leadership, vision, and understanding of Information Security domains and the common book of knowledge as well as an understanding of security governance.
Has the overall responsibility for designing application security infrastructure in such a way as to meet the needs of Stryker business partners while maintaining an acceptable level of control and security.
What you need
Bachelors in computer information systems or Information Security required.
Masters Degree preferred.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CRISC preferred.
Application Security certifications such as Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist, OWASP professional or equivalent preferred

Qualifications experience:
3 years experience in application development or similar field.
2 years experience in application security, cyber security, or similar functional areas.
Experience establishing strategic programs
Experience working with third-party providers.
Experience driving change within an organization or workgroup.
Knowledge to develop and interpret standards, policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of application security solutions.
