As a Junior Network and Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting
clients and team members with support, maintenance and optimization of core network services and communications systems. You will work alongside senior network team members to provide logistical support, respond to queries, document changes, and assist with testing, assessment, diagnosis and resolution of network service outages and incidents. You will maintain and configure network systems, enable services, or respond to end user requests for network status information. As a network Administrator participates in informal and formal network learning opportunities and may travel on an as needed basis.
You will also jointly own, with the DevOps teams, the operational stability of the components and be able to affect change to improve the on-going robustness, resiliency, and stability of the system. SureStep operates a continuous delivery DevOps model with emphasis on deployment automation, TDD, BDD, monitoring and on-going ownership of components in production. The SureStep stack includes OpenShift, Zabbix, McAfee, Qualys, WebSphere, Juniper Routers (vSRX) and Db2.
The role requires experience in testing, assessment, diagnosis and resolution of network service outages and incidents. You must be able to demonstrate excellence in those areas and a willingness to learn new systems, architectures and methodologies

To assist in timely advisory service, support and delivering GRC products (IBM, ServiceNow)To perform diagnostics of network issues and provides support internal and client supportUpdate and maintain network documentation and communicate architecture within the teamTo provide consultancy to client and internal teams for integration, deployments, releases, and maintenance of GRC and peripheral systems, where appropriateTo manage internal tickets and development frameworks for all assigned projectsTo document technical specifications, implementation guides and any other required documentationConfigures network devices for new deployments per direction of senior staff, configures replacement network devices from backup configuration filesAssists with software installation, solves email access and routing issues, assists with backup and archivingPerform day to day operational tasks such as proactive maintenance, management, monitoring performance, incident and problem management, security, and backup and recovery across the network infrastructureResponsibilities may require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with littleadvanced noticeResponsibilities may require being on-call during weekends wherework is not scheduledTo represent SureStep in technical forumsTo configure e/develop as directed
