IT Helpdesk Support Analyst 1st 2nd linePermanent Milton KeynesOur client is a leading, financially strong company providing highly regarded automotive financial services based near to Milton Keynes and the M1. As a result of continuous growth, we are now looking for an ambitious IT 1st 2nd line Support Analyst to join them.The role of the IT Support Analyst is to provide a range of support activities to the existing IT Support Manager.Key Responsibilities:

Logging calls on the IT Service Desk (ManageEngine Service Desk Plus) and managing their timely resolution Providing 1st 2nd line technical support Escalation of support requests to internal / external support staff when necessary Supporting users in the use of computer equipment by providing advice or training Be involved with various IT projects where deemed appropriate Perform all add / remove / changes for users Responsible for correct configuration of laptops and company mobile phones Manage companys remote desktop server environment Manage the companys anti-virus software (ESET) Provide 1st line support for the Unify Openscape IP telephony system Provide routine maintenance for company websites (Wordpress) Management of patching process for desktops and servers (WSUS)Knowledge and experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role A strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on: Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, Active Directory and Group Policy Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office product (including Office 365) and MS Exchange Experience supporting remote desktop environments / terminal services Knowledge of the following will be considered an advantage: Microsoft Sharepoint, Linux, Microsoft SQL server, Unify IP telephony systems, server administration (VMs, firewalls, physically servers and SANs etc) An accomplished problem solver with the ability to work on their own to fully investigate issues to understand the root cause and suggest long term solutions Ability to learn quickly, conscientious motivated whilst working in a fast-paced environmentFluent in business English language - with clear and confident written and oral presentation skills and the ability to tailor these for all levels GCSE Grade A-C in English Maths Full current driving license requiredThis is a superb career progression opportunity to work with an expanding market leader; as such we are looking for the best individuals.An excellent package including additional training, pension and other benefits will be paid to the right candidate.TD Group Limited acts as an employment business for interim positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
