Job Description: The Info Developer will develop and electronically create Schematics for delivery via the service information system (SIS) to dealers and customers worldwide.
Service Information - Schematic Developers (SIDs), utilize the electrical and hydraulic schematics provided by the product team to develop the schematics to match the CAT standards and apply several features that enables the end users of the schematics to troubleshoot, fix issues across the globe.
The Schematics developers help to deliver schematics to highest standards as the technicians consume the deliverables to operate, maintain and repair Caterpillar equipment. Assignments support both new and non-current product design. Service information products that are produced by the Service information developers have significant impact on efficiency and profitability of dealer service operations.
SID will have continuous interaction with Project leaders, Product design support Engineers and the use of a variety of corporate systems and resources.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical engineering with maximum 1 year experience or equivalent accredited associate degree with maximum 2 to 3 years of experience.
Experience in Servicing/ Maintenance/Trouble shooting/Technical writing in Earth moving industry or equivalent. Person worked with Caterpillar machines will be given first preference.
Candidates with good knowledge in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings, schematics and experience in 3D modeling tools are preferred.
Self-driven, able to complete the task given with less supervision.
Good mechanical/electrical aptitude, customer focus, initiative, planning organizing with good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
