The Sr. Project Manager is assigned the management of specific project work. Performs daytoday management of the project, identifies issues and risks and recommends possible issue and risk mitigation strategies associated with the project. Is responsible for ensuring that work performed is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and on budget. Identifies critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria. Provides solutions to improve efficiency (e.g. reduce costs while maintaining or improving performance levels). Monitors issues and provides resolutions for uptodate status reports. Demonstrates excellent written and oral communications skills. Develops, coordinates and oversees all Project needs for this Workday Implementation.
Minimum Qualifications/Skill Sets
Minimum seven (7) years successful Project Management experience managing large, high profile, enterprise and sensitive projectsBachelors Degree or equivalent experienceMUST Possess a Project, Program, Portfolio, or Agile management certificate from the Project Management InstituteWorkday (or other Large ERP) Implementation knowledge and experience is a MUSTPrevious experience managing software and/or hardware implementation and upgrade projects using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologiesExperience creating and managing project documentation as defined by the Project ManagementInstitute (PMI)Experience managing resources on large enterprise projects in a highly matrixed environment.Experience in creating and managing project deliverables and documents (SDLC and PMI)Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Project, Excel, WORD)Exceptional organization and coordination skillsAbility to work five days per week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a combination of on and off site support. (this is not a strictly work from home position)Exceptional oral and written communications skillsExperience with Executive level presentations and communications
