To help us maintain organizational focus on the mission, innovate, and execute we are seeking a Program Manager to work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to prioritize work and drive on-time cloud solution delivery, including process definition and improvement. You will provide expertise in process areas ensuring success for Oracles customers by driving cross-functional projects, programs, initiatives, or solutions from initiation to completion.

Position Overview

As a Senior Program Manager, you will have immediate business impact while working on cross-functional projects. You will help evolve and drive a big-bet investment around an organizational leadership program. You will be embedded in the cloud engineering team that is responsible for enabling and onboarding our largest most complex customers. As a Technical Program Manager, you will provide expertise in data management, analysis, technology and processes ensuring our operational success. The work is non-routine, complex and involves the application of both technical, interpersonal and business skills.

You will have an opportunity to work with smart, passionate people to build a business that enables our technical sales teams to provide world-class service to our cloud customers. You will define and manage project success criteria, scope, resources, and schedules; monitor projects from initiation through delivery; and drive key operational and organizational process improvement initiatives. You will engage and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting objectives and requirements and build reports, summaries, and updates related to critical processes.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Executing of the data engineering processes from understanding business requirements, data discovery, and extraction to model development and evaluation.
Work with stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs
Managing multiple data projects through project lifecycles.
Solving business and technical problems with robust use of data methodologies and creative use of modelling techniques.
Facilitating cross-silo communications and decision making across team, division, and company.
Managing project-level plan, issues/risks, status, etc.

Experience Needed to Succeed

3years of program management, business analytics or data engineering
Proficiency with SQL and RDBMS technologies
Experience with BI tools such as OBIEE, PowerBI, APEX etc.
Strong organizational, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to synthesize complex elements into crisp and robust stories for audiences of variable technical levels
Active involvement with Cloud services - familiarity with cloud concepts, terminology, tech stacks.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science or related field; or equivalent experience

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
