Role Description:

A Conversion Rate Optimization specialist (CRO) leads experimentation efforts to optimization the eCommerce customer journey, with a specific focus on conversion. They have a deep understanding of the target market and build close relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., POs) to ensure that the teams incorporate findings of the CROs work into their backlog. The CRO is also responsible for reporting out the impact of tests that are actionable for the Agile squads


Responsibilities

As a CRO, you will


Lead the experimentation effort at a digital B2B company


Implement A/B, MVT and personalization experiences across a range of personas, markets and products


Work directly with our ecommerce teams and be responsible for managing, testing and implementing conversion points in the marketing funnel.


Deliver clear and actionable reporting on a weekly basis


Have the opportunity to build a CRO team from scratch


Key Skills:


Domain Experience:

Configure and use website analytics and testing platforms to measure performance of experiments


Experience with tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Power BI


Experience with A/B testing tools (Adobe target)


Leverage site and audience data to draw insights, develop hypotheses and develop testing roadmap


Experience with front end web technologies (e.g., HTML, JS, CSS) is a plus


Agile / Digital experience:

Experience managing roadmaps, managing backlogs, testing initiatives, managing timelines, writing functional requirements and seeing initiatives through execution


Prior management experience strongly preferred


Individual skills:

Proven experience in Marketing and site optimization


Self starter who is open to feedback and learning


Proven track record of improving digital conversion rates through testing and campaign analytics feedback.


Mindset and Behavior:

Analytical and metrics driven with strong copywriting skills


Highly creative with a desire to test and experiment with new and innovative ideas


Strategist who can optimize lead-to-customer conversion rates and increase funnel marketing efficiencies
