What youll achieve

As a Level L2/L3 Engineer would be responsible for supporting multi-tenant customers hosted in Virtustream cloud and multiple data center. Role involves supporting clients Mission critical SAP applications installed in the Virtustream Cloud Platform. As an Advisor, IT Infrastructure responsible for maintaining RHEL and Suse Servers up time and business availability. Would be working on day to day server administration task and would be 2nd level of support for any operational issues. working on incident Management and change management process, responsible for closing all incidents and service request within SLA. Familiarity with Scripting and networking will be a plus, would be involved expensively in performing security and kernel patching.

You will:
Responsible to carry our BAU day to Day activities.
Responsible of executing Project related activities.
Responsible for UCS, ESXi Dell Server troubleshooting, upgrades and firmware management
Responsible for analyzing vulnerabilities in PCI compliance report, prepare remediation plan, test, deploy remediation steps
Vendor Coordination to resolve hardware and software issues Follow-ups till Closure
Responsible for monthly operating system ESXi, Dell Server, VM (OS Linux) patches installation and upgradation
Responsible for VM templates patching and compliance
Have experience in preparing SOP MOP documents preparation for critical activities
Responsible for the development and refinement of operational best practices as it relates to Virtustream Enterprise Cloud platform management support
Stay up to date on emerging technologies and products, including attaining certifications and participation in industry events as appropriate to continue to drive improved methodologies into the organization
Assist in the development of automation tools
Provides appropriate level of support and troubleshooting for incidents across the environment and escalates to next Tier if needed
Exercises considerable attitude in determining technical objectives, without appreciable direction
Utilizes a variety of internal and external sources to investigate technology, build knowledge, and resolve incidents.
Review documentation, diagrams, configurations, standard operating procedures, and tools and regularly contributes to internal knowledgebase and departmental documentation.
Maintains professional demeanor under pressure possessing a can-do attitude, to keep the resolution process moving in a positive direction
Familiar with VMware infrastructure builds and Management
Experience in Managing cloud infrastructure services and ability to adopt new technologies
