Tier 2 Service Assurance Network Engineer, responsible for handling customer calls, ticket and chats in support of ATT Flexware and SDWAN products. This engineer will work to resolve software, hardware, routing and transport issues in a 24/7 call center. Working with internal and external partners in resolving customer issues including managing and facilitating phone bridges and chats. Responsible for handing customer escalations and expectations in a timely manner.
A strong understanding of Software Defined NetworkingStrong networking skills includingo Routing Protocols (Ex, BGP, OSPF) o Troubleshooting complex issues including routing, switching, QoS, VOIP Working knowledge of Layer 2 switches, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Access Points, and wireless technology a plusWorking knowledge of transport including TDM and Etherneto Wireless LTE/5G a plus Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE a plus)Strong knowledge of Unix and Unix commands in white box environment
