DevOps - SOLR (OK to use Python Developer)Client is part of the MLPT organization.As part of MLPT, our goal is to build systems and services that will help accelerate the pace of adoption of ML.Client focus area is in building data systems specific to ML engineering problems. Client is working on building a service that will provide centralized search and indexing services to varied MLPT products.Client goal is to providing relevant search capability to MLPT customers data helps in visualizing and discovering insights that directly play an important role in connecting customers to their needs.Brief job description with clear role, responsibilities, and deliverables that they are expected to deliver in a time-bound project
Client would like to hire a contractor to:
Provide infrastructure support for Services and Apache Solr on Kubernetes.Implement integration testing and reliability testing for Search service.Implement automated performance framework and tests that are run on a regular basis and as part of release process.
Writes specifications and documentation for the integration and reliability testing

Top 2 to 3 skills candidates will be looking for when candidates review resumes:
Experience with and knowledge of Apache Solr is a must.Experience with one language e.g., Python, Golang etc. Preferred experience working in Linux, MacOS environmentsExperience working with GitHub, Gitlab, CI/CD Pipelines etc.Experience writing integration and reliability tests.Experience with using REST APIsAnything that would automatically disqualify a candidate?Lack of coding experienceLack of experience in using REST APIsLack of experience working with automated CI/CD pipelinesLack of Solr experience
