About this role: The Financial Systems Analyst, Controllers Group, will support globally based users of various financial applications. The analyst will also be responsible for creating automation solutions to improve processes within Gartners Finance organization. Automation solutions can include the designing, documenting, testing, and implementation of robotic process automation (RPA) opportunities.
What youll do: Responsible for the maintenance support of users of our financial applications within the Oracle or other applications as necessary. Facilitate management and financial reporting Effective use of creative, analytical skills to identify and address problems, trouble shoot resolve issues or investigate system improvements in an efficient manner. Assist in the implementation of the full life-cycle of RPA solutions: identify RPA opportunities; gather requirements; design, document; and implement, test and deploy targeted RPA solutions Assist in the creation of RPA performance reports as needed Assist others seeking to utilize RPA technologies to automate and streamline existing manual business processes Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
What youll need: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems or equivalent work experience 2 - 3 years of programming and/or coding experience Comfortable working with data and reporting tools such as Excel, Tableau, etc. Strategic and analytical thinker, able to move seamlessly from high-level concepts to details and solutions without much guidance Process and solutions oriented Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in scenarios that are not well defined or structured Excellent interpersonal communications skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the enterprise
