As an Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Developing system BIOS, firmware and drivers for processors/microcontrollers Working with internal teams as well as external vendors/partners/ODM's to define interface/protocol specifications Working with system and software architects on feature definitions, requirements and behavior specifications Designing and implementing new manageability and UEFI features Debugging systemic issues and hardware, as well as software problems Identifying the root cause of reported issues and providing workarounds and solutions Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including:
UEFI firmware development Excellent C, C++ design and coding skills PEI/DXE interfaces, protocols, UEFI driver model, HII Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with PC/Server architectures/platforms Developing and debugging UEFI firmware for platform subsystems such as CPU, PCIe, Memory, CPU, IPMI/Redfish, RAS, Security Experience with Embedded system software development, especially at a system architectural level Education: BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering degree
Ability to quickly ramp-up on complex and unfamiliar code Debugging skills and understanding of hardware and software interactions Enthusiastic, motivated, and self-driven Excellent written and oral communications Self-driven with the ability to manage program schedule/deliverables
