In the context of Global MarketsUBIXListed Derivatives caters to the Listed Derivatives Back Office worldwide. The project develops and maintains applications used by the users and provides end to end ADM services.

Position Purpose

Result oriented Business Analyst with more than 5 years of experience. Can work with the team to produce high quality deliverables within timelines. The candidate should be functionally inclined and with proven working record in the Capital Market and Business Analysis skillset.


Direct Responsibilities

o Interact with users to understand change requests/new requirements/bugs

o Interface with IT team

o Write specifications for IT team

o Build tests scenarios in order to enrich regression tests library

o Build and play tests scenarios to validate the enhancements

o Support users during UAT/Production

o Write team and end-users documentation

o Knowledge on the Front to Back STP chain

o Have knowledge of BO accounting processes for listed derivatives.

o Use of all BO functions (settlements, reporting, position, expiry, Corporate Actions)

o Assistance to the development team or the support team for all functional issues

o Handle the functional business areas independently

o Communicate effectively with users

Contributing Responsibilities

o Ensuring that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of software development life-cycle and day to day development work.

o Meeting deadlines deliverables.

o Keeping BA Lead appraised of issues that affect the project and the deliverables of the project

o Implementing and Improving BA processes within the team

Technical Behavioral Competencies

o Strong knowledge of listed derivative products lifecycle

o Strong knowledge of BO Processes (booking, settlements, accounting)

o Strong knowledge of market actors and processes (clearing broker, executing broker, clearing house, market, regulation authorities)

o Knowledge of financial flows, including specificities of listed derivatives (Initial Margin, Mark to Market)

o Sound knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities

o Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Lean/Kanban would be a plus)

o Involvement in process improvement

o Basic SQL (simple queries, joins)

Specific Qualifications B.E. / B. tech or equivalent OR a Bachelors Degree in Commerce / Science backed by MBA/PGDM (Finance) or CFA/ACA
