The role

The charity is now looking to recruit to the role of Digital Marketing & SEO Executive to join our award-winning, official charity of Burnley Football Club. Located in Turf Moor stadium and working closely with the Head of Brand & Partnerships, the role will consist of editing the Charity's websites with new pages and content, designing, and sending email campaigns, and managing our social media channels among other things as necessary.

Job Summary

Working closely with the Head of Brand & Partnerships, the role will consist of editing the Charity's websites with new pages and content, designing, and sending email campaigns, and managing our social media channels among other things as necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities Create, Deliver and report on multi-channel marketing campaigns (SEO, social media, email marketing, web content) to achieve business objectives. Develop SEO strategy to improve search engine rankings for the company. Review 'paid for' campaigns and make recommendations on relevance and ROI. Plan, create and co-ordinate the company's social media channel content. Plan and write content that focuses on attraction, conversion and retention of our audience - including research, copywriting, obtaining quotes and conducting interviews where appropriate. Develop an email marketing plan and execute marketing campaigns. Design content including creating marketing collateral, social media assets, infographics, newsletters and use of video creation software. Monitor Google Analytics to measure success and find areas of improvement. Support the planning and maintenance of company websites, with the latest news and insights ensuring content remains fresh. To be able to work flexible hours where the role of the job requires. To work towards agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Comply with all Charity policies. Promote the Burnley FC in the Community brand and ethos in a professional, strong, and positive manner. Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organisation as and when required to promote best practice. To understand and implement the Club's Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment. A commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace. Essential

Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Desirable

Full clean driving licence with access to own transport. Experience & Skills

Essential

1+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing role. Strong communicator with exceptional written skills. Proven track record of managing social media channels, WordPress websites and email databases. Understanding of past Google algorithms and its influence on search today. Passion for achieving results in the ever-changing landscape of SEO. Experience in using SEO tools ie Google Search Console, Google Analytics.

Desirable

Copywriting experience. Experience of managing online booking systems. Personal Qualities

Creative thinker. Meticulous attention to detail. Good content writing skills. Excellent organisation, time management prioritisation skills. Good judgement and knowing when to seek advice or support. Ability to work within a team and foster good working relationships. A friendly, positive 'can do' and courteous attitude. Enthusiasm, energy, and resilience. A commitment to the aims, vision, and values of Burnley FC in the Community. Highly motivated, determined, and conscientious. Displays no prejudice when working with others. Willingness to have a full DBS check.

Full time, 35 hours per week: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

However, you may also be required to work ad hoc match days and fundraising events to support the wider team.
