The OpportunityWe are a leading supplier of high-performance Storage and Networking solutions, simplifies the process of Storage and Networking by providing end-to-end SAN infrastructure in the industry. We builds solutions based on all storage and network technologies including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, FCoE, Ethernet, RDMA (RoCE/iWARP) and NVMe-over-Fabric.

We have an immediate need for a Staff Test Automation Development Engineer in the Fibre Channel Software Team. This position will be in our Pune, India design center. In this position, you will be responsible for development of Test Automation for Fibre Channel Adapters. Roles and Responsibilities:

Automate new Functional and Performance Test Cases, fix issues and enhance existing automation
Design and implement Automation Frameworks, Continuous Integration Frameworks, and Automated Regression Test Suites
Develop test cases and test plans using Feature Specifications to cover testing of depth and breadth of the products.
Ability to come up with detailed design specs for Automation using Test Specifications and Test Cases from manual Test Teams.
Work with Engineering Integration Test (EIT) and Product Quality Assurance (PQA) teams to automate test cases and deploy automation
Configure FC Hosts, FC Switches and FC storage to create Test Beds for testing FC Software, Firmware and HW
Execution of manual and automated test cases with rigor and timely completion of test cycles based on release timeline
Report issues in a timely manner to development teams and collaborate with them for getting closure on reported bugs
Take initiative, be proactive and assume full responsibility of the tasks and initiatives
Contribute towards organizational goals and objectives

Required Skills:

Proficient in programming using Python
Programming knowledge in C, C, Tcl, Perl, expect or Shell Scripting is a plus
Hands on experience in Python based automation framework design and development
Expert in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming
Expert in Data Structures and Algorithms
Storage, SCSI, NVMe, Fibre Channel, FCoE, iSCSI, SAN, SPDK knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of Virtualization, OS internals desirable
In depth knowledge working in Linux/Unix environments
Windows and ESX experience a plus
Knowledge configuring Servers, Storage and Switches is a plus
Working experience on DevOps tools such as JENKINS, JIRA, GIT, QTEST is a plus
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
Expertise in Software Development Lifecycles and software testing/automation methodologies & techniques
Must have effective interpersonal, and communication skills
Demonstrates good analytical and problem-solving skills
Has an inherent sense of urgency and accountability
Grounded, detail-oriented, always backs up ideas with facts
Must have the ability to define problems, issues and opportunities, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from various datasets
Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering degree
Currently working on projects that involves python programming
3years of automating test cases using python
3years of experience developing/enhancing automation framework using python
Wrote 3000lines of Python code
3years of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming
3years of manual testing experience
3years of working on Storage Technologies
Min 3 to 6 Years.
