Durham Professional Services has an opportunity for an experienced Developer to work with our client on a permanent basis. Our client is currently undergoing a true digital transformation of its business, as such this is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in some exciting and high-profile projects. Our client is building a team of talented and passionate developers who will be focused on doing things the right way . The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high quality web applications and have a strong attention to detail. Experience of leading and guiding teams from a technology perspective would be great too.
This role is currently WFH, but there will be an expectation to be onsite, when required, as current restrictions lift.
Key Responsibilities: Working with designers to rapidly prototype ideas. Implementing designs in responsive interfaces. Advocating for the end user in terms of UI and UX. Working with product owners and stakeholders to provide continuous business value following agile principles. Guiding and mentoring teams both from and individual and technical perspective. Working alongside key company stakeholders to advise, guide and keep abreast of the digital transformation.
Key Skills Required: Good experience of HTML, CSS and React. Ability to hand-code valid, semantic and accessible HTML. Knowledge of cross browser/platform/device concerns in order to provide a unified customer experience. Experience of a Version Control System such as git or svn. Ability to write unit and integration tests for Front End applications. Previous experience of working at a senior or lead level. Experience of guiding and leading teams. Strong stakeholder engagement skills. Passion for technology.
