Job Description:

The Authentication Integration Engineer is responsible for enabling applications across all lines of business to integrate with the enterprise authentication platforms. Primary focus will be WAM solutions for simplified Sign on, federated simplified sign on and onboarding or maintaining the policies and configurations for over 2,000 applications globally. The role includes support of the lower lane environments for the authentication platforms, service ID and group access management for application teams. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a deeply committed team of recognized information security experts on high visibility security initiatives for the Bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General

Consult with application teams regarding their requirements

Manage their assigned queues of requests for service

Keep current the request status to ensure accuracy and timely completion

On-Call support rotation for non business hours and weekends

Participate in the projects and other initiatives

Simplified Sign on Integration

Enable simplified sign on by integrating the application with the enterprise authentication platform (Primarily PingAccess)

Federated Simplified Sign on Integration (Third Party)

Gather requirements and consult with application manager and understandthe configurations of third party applications (typically cloud based)

Enable federated simplified sign on using SAML 2.0

OAuth, Middleware Integration, REST web Svcs, STS, MFA and APIs

Consult and understand application requirements to apply the solution

Solutions include, but are not limited to OAuth, MFA, STS, AF, UUM, etc.

Perform technology integration to support applications needs

Infrastructure Support (LLE)

Troubleshoot lower lane (Dev, SIT, UAT) issues for all infrastructure solutions

Problem management, Incident Management and escalations

Level 1/2/3 support and 24x7 on-call support

Access Management Services

Manage entitlements (CDSN)

Enable and revoke SSO for Service IDs (CDSN)

Enable Access to Group Management platform (EAT)

Add/Modify/Delete Group Access (BatchAdmin - EAT)

Problem solver with strong work ethic

Strong written/oral communications skills

Demonstrates high analytical ability

Client service, support and troubleshooting

Deep understanding of large networks and systems and the interaction between applications, infrastructures, etc.

Ability to perform and manage operational procedures

Understanding of the underlying technology, processes and systems

Experience and willingness to work across time zones (globally)

Risk Management

Ability to be comfortable delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding

Technical Expertise

2-5 years performing application integrations, engineering or production support of Web Authentication Management Platforms (preferably PingAccess, PingFederate)

1-3 years of experience with implementing OAuth technologies and solutions (preferably PingOAuth)

Enterprise Role Overview:

Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include OS technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Assists in establishment of input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
