Responsibilities

The Global Capacity Planning & Management organization is responsible for efficiently and effectively staffing billable resources to deliver customer outcomes and enable the Microsoft Consulting Services and Customer Success organizations to achieve their financial and customer satisfaction goals. We do this by enabling the demand planning, hiring, and staffing of resources in both Domains (Solution Areas) and Areas. Our goal is to staff the right resources at the right time and right place, with the right skills. As part of the Talent Integration & Operations team you will be responsible for driving a centralized hiring approach for time zones. This will involve creating and managing processes and programs for industry talent, including focus on niche resources such as those with specialized skills needed for their roles. As part of this team, you will be responsible for engaging in cross-team collaboration, communication, and facilitation of hiring outcomes. In addition, you will provide strategic guidance as needed to enable talent goals. Attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude are required to manage the variety of responsibilities and deliverables.


The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and deadlines, must be flexible and have the ability to manage through ambiguity and uncertainty. Must be a self-starter who can take the initiative and work with minimal direction when necessary. You will need to think strategically, be able to develop and drive processes and procedures that facilitate consistent, efficient management of key business processes, and land these processes via effective communications strategies.


Qualifications

Minimum

3years of experience within MS Services or Services-driven business
5 - 7 years of experience as a key contributor in high performing teams which design, build, evaluate, support, and continuously improve global programs
5 - 7 years of proven experience driving strong, relevant and impactful communications, both internally and externally
Strong analytical problem-solving using thought leadership to systematically consider the end to end implications of problems and develop potential solutions considering impacts across multiple teams, tools, objectives and desired outcomes.
Ability to influence without authority and work across multiple organizations such as Finance, HR, CELA, Operations, etc. Consciously develop and influence key target audience and persuade to reach shared or mutually beneficial strategies. Understand unstated reasons for others concerns, reactions, behaviors, and perspectives

Preferred

Proven effectiveness driving cross-team programs to desired results and manage risk.
Experience with Hiring & Recruiting Operations.
Experience in global roles and/or overseas experience
Project/program management leadership including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, communications, and integration management
Demonstrated strong capability in verbal and written communications skills for a geographically dispersed audience
