Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Manager will lead a team of BI developers and analysts in support of delivering on business requirements related to dashboards, reporting, KPIs and information analysis. This person will be responsible for leading the BI team in relation to requirements gathering, design, and development of BI solutions from key business data sources including, but not limited to, Oracle EBS. Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle EPM Cloud, Salesforce.com and other systems. The BI Manager should have good understanding of BI design principles and concepts as well as the toolsets in this space, with focus on the Microsoft BI stack, specifically Power BI. This person will work closely with IT and business leaders to understand and define projects and priorities related to information requests and BI solutions. Additionally, providing support of existing BI solutions and technology while transitioning to a modern Microsoft Azure Data platform.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

* Manage Business Intelligence team by delivering solution to meet business and IT needs
* Works with business leadership and IT leadership to identify issues and opportunities to improve business decisions through data
* Provide leadership and guidance on data architecture and design in line with prevailing BI concepts and generally accepted principles
* Understand current trends and technologies and provides recommendations on appropriate tools to meet business needs
* Work with the IT Service desk to support timely resolution of issues related to Business Intelligence systems and Data flows
* Ensuring that ETL and related data jobs run as defined and that information is delivered to the business on a timely and consistent basis
* Works collaboratively with the IT Governance & Risk organization to ensure compliance of delivered solutions
* Develop and communicate a multi-year Business Intelligence and Information Delivery roadmap
* Works closely with Project Management Group on initiating, planning and executing projects
* Responsible for delivering the project objectives and outcome
* Responsible for managing and directing the assigned project resources to best meet project objectives.
* Ensure that organization has the capabilities and resources required to support business demands.
* Responsible to foster and lead by example required behaviors within IT communities
* Drives work in line with the organization's mission, operations, structure, and goals; understands informal structures and processes of the organization; understands organization-level implications of his or her day-to-day decisions.

* Data management & acquisition design concepts including ETL and cube design

Educational Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance, management or equivalent.
* Microsoft, Power BI or related Business Intelligence specific training is preferred

Preferred Experience:

* Understanding of key business processes related to Sales, Operations, Finance and HR.
* Strong understanding of the Microsoft BI Stack including Power BI, Power Automate (Flows), Power Apps, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SharePoint, & related technology
* Experience with development using an Agile methodology
* Experience with JIRA a plus
* Experience with ServiceNow for ITSM a plus
* 2+ years of experience leading a technical team
* Experience with modern BI presentation tools such as Power BI, Qlikview, and Tableau
* Experience with vendor management with solid influence and negotiating skills
* Experience pulling using data from Oracle EBS, Oracle databases, HCM Cloud, EPM Cloud, Salesforce.com and others
* Experience in a manufacturing company with a demonstrated expertise in the strategic use of process improvements and IT as an enabler of business initiatives and business solutions
* Experience supporting a down system or production issues requiring clear communication & quick decisions
