Position : Spark/Scala Developer

Location: Chicago IL (Remote)

Duration :12+ Month

Client Facing role should have strong communication and minimum 3+ years experience Spark Scala, Hive, Java and databases Should have implemented big data pipeline ingesting large volumes of data and optimize the data processing engine Design & develop modeling and publishing pipelines, using Spark Scala, Hive, Java and databases Write complex, maintainable code to develop scalable data processing engines using Spark Scala, Apache Hive, Java and relational databases Work on cloud technologies including PAAS, Data warehousing and Data lake Designing and implementing highly performant data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources using Apache Spark and/or Azure Databricks. Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the cloud based Big Data Solution - conceptualize, design, develop, test and deploy Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot and ensure your teams adherence to the highest level of quality in writing complex, maintainable code to develop scalable and flexible applications Identify opportunities to optimize the existing solution, suggest performance improvements with strong focus on cost reduction Work with cross-functional team members and stakeholders throughout projects of varying scope and complexity Should have strong Analytical and problem solving skills required to provide technical solutions during Severity incidents

Interacting with multiple teams for Design and solution
