Service Desk Manager required for a well established, local Managed IT Services supplier based near to Crawley, Sussex.
Our client are looking for someone to manage the Service Desk, managing projects and implementations. You will need to have excellent customer service skills as well as having excellent motivational and management skills.
We are looking for someone who comes from a strong technical support background, who has worked their way up and is aware of the importance of excellent customer service and has experience of working to SLAs. Any experience working within MSPs would be fantastic!
As well as having that strong technical background you will also need to have experience of managing a small team - which would include carrying out appraisals, training plans, setting KPIs, dealing with disciplinary's etc.
As mentioned this role does require someone who ideally has the management experience but who is also happy to step up to help out in a 1st, 2nd or 3rd line capacity if required.
