About Cloud & Network Services (CNS)

Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services. It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokias enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit. This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.


CSP GBC mission is to drive top-line growth for Nokias Cloud & Network Services business with CSP customers by providing C&NS specific technical expertise, pre-sales, commercial management, field marketing and alliance leadership to the market to exceed top-line sales plan. CSP BGC is focusing on accelerating net new business growth with increasing margins and protect annuity revenue streams as well as boosting, equipping and accelerating Customer Experience in selling the entire C&NS portfolio to CSP customers and ensuring a harmonized end-to-end customer experience.

Nokia CNS Global Business Center is seeking a pre-sales professional with security domain expertise in APJ Market. S/he is required to provide customer-facing subject matter expertise on Nokia Security solutions and who will gather, understand, and synthesize customer requirements to drive an overall winning solution strategy for deals.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

The position has the following core responsibilities:

Provide sales and technical pre-sales support to customers and prospects.
Deliver presentations and product demonstrations, live or remotely, as required.
Maintain deep understanding of the technical capabilities/features of Nokia Software products
Demonstrate the value of Nokia Software at all levels, with CSPs and enterprises including business users, managers, and executive personnel.
Own and manage RFI & RFP responses for assigned accounts.
Lead product trials and proofs of concept for prospects during the presales process with support from the PU.
Analyze customer requirements, provide technical expertise to design and implement Nokia Software solution, and perform systems integration to 3rd solution when needed
Verify the operability of highly complex security products and services configurations within the customers environment.
Qualify complex sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding
Provide support in trade shows and exhibits where Nokia Software products are demonstrated
Understand and keep up with market & industry trends to provide thought leadership and position value of Nokia Software solutions.
Leverage third parties and/or partner channels to create and position Nokia security solution.
Gain access to and manage relationships with customers especially executive level technical staff and decision makers.
Establish self as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with your Account Manager (and the local partners) within your region

BS/MS degree (technical degree preferred)
Minimum 6 years of security domain experience, preferably with implementation or solution architect background with focus on security solution.
Background and experience on several if not all of the following security solutions Identity and Access Management Solution (such as CyberArk. Etc.)
Audit and Configuration Compliances Solutions
IDS / IPS solution and Network Based Security Solutions
Next-Generation Firewall (such as Palo Alto or Fortinet)
Secure DNS solution (such as Infoblox)
SIEM (Arcsight / Qlogic) and vulnerability scanning solution

Solid foundational knowledge of vulnerability management solution
Good understanding of mobile packet core technologies related to 4g, 5g, Small cell.
Knowledge of general IT concepts (Operating Systems, Network Design, Information Security, IT Ops)
Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO, NIST)
Certifications like CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CompTIA Security , CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), etc. are desired but not mandatory
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
Exhibits good project planning and time management skills
Ability to work as a team, yet work independently on complex problems
Security certifications (such as CISSP/ CISM will be highly regarded)
Able to travel across APJ in short notice (estimated travel load is 70 PERCENTof work time)
