Description
The role will also be responsible for promotion of best practice and ensuring SLA compliance in addition to providing IT operational support to over end users over multi-site hosted environments. The role will require an in-depth understanding of the solution. The role will also have responsibility for co-ordinating technical resource delivering IT Infrastructure and server projects. A good understanding of vulnerability management remediation is desirable.


Business Function:


Global IT Operations offers support services for the core IT infrastructure, Data Centres, Networks and Compute by ensuring all three areas are aligned to provide a stable, resilient, scalable, repeatable, automated infrastructure where Equiniti hosts its applications and services. This team provides connectivity to all our offices in the UK, US, India, Europe and SA and also establishes and ensures secure communications with our 3rd party providers and clients. By running a private cloud across two datacentres which have synchronous replication enables high availability of services to the business. Global IT support is extended by highly competent and technically skilled team of expertise operating out of all the regions where Equiniti has its presence.


Core Duties and Responsibilities


Successful candidate would be responsible for the following duties

Troubleshoot end user incidents and where possible resolve upon first contact.
Performs requirements gathering, planning and implementation of technologies and processes that improve identity management security initiatives
Adding and removing endpoints within appropriate groups in the PAM service
Create documents describing access rights management to different business applications
Responsible for the support and evolution of PAM processes, standards, guidelines, infrastructure and tools. This includes, but is not limited to, identity provisioning and governance, web application security, single sign on and multi-factor authentication, privileged account management, and unstructured data management.
Moderate analytical skills are required to probe for understanding and address as appropriate Active Directory user and groups management issues, Windows File share access management, and access control.
The role is expected to make sound decisions in addressing end-users access and other security related issues and to recommend improvements to address security issues or gaps.
The role has the ability to make general decisions without guidance and direction in problem solving based upon a solid knowledge of the PAM functions, processes and procedures
Remains current on and meets compliance requirements from an Identity and Access Management perspective
Cooperate with applications owners, and technicians owners
Will be able to demonstrate strong problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Initiate ideas to drive service improvements and efficiencies within the team


Skills Attributes and Beahviour


Successful candidate would be demonstrating the following skills and behaviour

Should have good experience in supporting BeyondTrust PAM, or other PAM toolset such as Thycotic or CyberArk
Proven Experience delivering Internal and external infrastructure projects
Vulnerability management experience.
Extensive hands-on experience of the full lifecycle of credential management utilizing PAM products; requirements elicitation, design, test, Service Transition through to BAU.
Experience with multiple server Operating Systems, security/network appliances, public/private cloud, TCP/IP and Active Directory.
Understand concepts of role-based access control (RBAC), least privilege, and permissions management.
Experience with scripting, databases, and the following technologies: SSO, SIEM, LDAP/S, IIS/Apache, MFA, PKI
ITIL Foundation or equivalent knowledge of IT Service Management.


Desirable

MCSE or relevant Microsoft certification
Exposure to Linux
ITIL v3 Foundation certification
