Job spec: My client are trying to increase the technical capability in the team for the purposes of pushing business confidence in IT and increasing IT capabilities to be more engaged in customer deliverables/facing programmes. The team is evolving and there is a desire is to find someone with a strong understanding of change programmes who can help formalise the processes of the existing team, this includes improving the quality of documentation and establishing document standards with the network services lead for clearer communications with internal team and delivery partner organisations. Key technology experience: -Must have Proven capability in routing including EIGRP, OSPF & BGP -Proven capability in VPN & DMVPN technology -Proven experience in Layer 3 switching, must have worked in multi-vendor environments (Cisco/HP etc) Key experience points: -Expected to work on high value customer programmes o Must be able to communicate clearly o Technical escalation for complex debug, troubleshooting and problem solving (see technology above) o Representing my client in programme and customer meetings. -Expected to create, produce/review documentation that support network changes or network project implementations -Expected to act as an SME to work with IT Solution and Business Architects to turn HLDs into LLDs for the team to execute -Expected to act as a technical point of reference for Network Services lead and junior team members
Key Qualifications. -Preferred: CCiE - preferred with validation of CCIE # & registration -Willing to discuss: CCNP with a desire to get to CCIE could be a discussion point.
