The role is responsible for providing a professional remote and onsite technical support and field engineering service to a key client by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Through pre-emptive service incident and resolution activities, this role will restore service to clients by managing incidents and seeing them through to an effective resolution. Their primary objective is to ensure all requests, process events and resolution incidents result in zero missed SLA conditions. The role is responsible for managing incidents of medium complexity.
What you'll be doing
Role Responsibilities
Rectification of network faults across the customer's environment within the given SLA's Configuration, installation and troubleshooting of Cisco and Arista Switches, Routers and WiFi The ownership of small projects within the perimeter of the customer's global network The creation and execution of network changes according to the customer's process, sometimes these take place during non-business hours Network requests, for example DNS and DHCP entries Incident and problem management WiFi site surveys Maintenance of on-site and global technical documentation Liaise with vendors when necessary to resolve vendor related issuesWhat would make you a good fit for this role?
Skills and Attributes
Proven Cisco network engineering experience - CCNP level - in a support environment Customer focus Any experience of the following network technologies would be considered an advantage: Cisco Prime, Nexus, VRF, VSS, F5 BigIP, Ekahau, Infoblox, Arista Any network automation experience with Python or Ansible would be seen as a significant advantage Ability to work in a team environment, not only within the UK but also with European colleagues in France, Germany and Spain Good problem solving skills Sense of ownership and accountabilityJoin our growing global team and accelerate your career with us.
